WW1

It's been a long time since I posted some photos of our games. So long that I can't really remember what exactly happened. Anyway here are a few photos of one of our game since June.

We played a couple of WW1 games using a free set of rules called "1916". They can be found here

http://www.wtj.com/games/1916/

The first game saw the Germans attacking a British held line through a wood and a somewhat damaged town. The end result saw the Germans battering away to no avail.

Dave's big guns lurking at back.

As if the guns weren't enough.

The Germans start to advance.

Not what you want to see when you come around the corner!

No way through here!

  1. Nice looking game. Are there differing scale figures being used here? The stretcher bearers look smaller than the troopers in last pic.

    1. Thanks Scott. Yes, the bulk of the fig's are 28's but there are a couple of Gav's 20mm , like the stretcher team, fellas dotted around the table.
